Glenn Beck Slams Samantha Bee, Colbert for Being Wrapped Up in ‘Hatred’ of Trump

Glenn Beck and Samantha Bee are unlikely friends, but they’re still friends.

That might be why Beck was so hard on her today during his radio show. Recently, Bee has been all over the news, especially as she’s given interviews to CNN’s Jake Tapper and Mother Jones‘ David Corn. Oh, and of course, she also hosted that whole “Not the White House Correspondents Dinner” event.

During every interview, event, and taping of her own show, Bee makes it clear she is no fan of Donald Trump. While Beck isn’t either, he cautioned her — and others — to stay away from the incessant Trump-bashing.

He even brought up Stephen Colbert, who’s been getting some flak for a big anti-Trump rant in the middle of his monologue last night.

Here’s what Beck said:

“Samantha, you are making exactly the same mistake that I made. Exactly the same mistake. Stephen Colbert. You are both getting so wrapped up in your anger and hatred and vitriol for this president that you are forgetting that a third of this country, if not 50 percent of this country, still like the man, still agree with him.”

“Our country is better than this,” he concluded.
