Golden State Warriors Push Back: Going to DC, But Not WH Since Trump Made Clear ‘We Are Not Invited’

The Golden State Warriors have released a statement this afternoon in response to President Trump disinviting Stephen Curry.
Curry said yesterday he doesn’t want to go to the White House, but added the team would talk it over. This morning, the President disinvited him.
So the Warriors acknowledge in their statement that “President Trump has made it clear that we are not invited,” essentially confirming they will not be going to the White House at all.

Instead, when they go to DC in a few months, they decided “that we’ll constructively use our trip to the nation’s capital… to celebrate equality, diversity and inclusion –– the values that we embrace as an organization.”
