GOP Rep. Calls European Allies ‘A Bunch of Weenies’

Republican congressman Dana Rohrabacher spoke at the Young America Foundation’s young conservative conference last night, and during his remarks about foreign policy he got a bit loose-lipped in talking about America’s European allies and called them “a bunch of weenies” (with the exception of Poland).

Rohrabacher expressed some serious doubt that “our European allies are going to be what balances off the evil forces in the world.”

He called for a new global alliance to combat the threats of the 21st century, but not before saying, “The only people I know who seem willing, who seem gutsy enough to fight, are the Poles, and the rest of the Europeans are a bunch of weenies as far as I’m concerned.”
