‘He Speaks!’ Jared Kushner Made Rare Public Remarks Today and Twitter Flipped Out
Jared Kushner, White House senior advisor, son-in-law to President Donald Trump, and occasional secretary of everything, delivered some rare public remarks today to tech CEOs at the White House, and Twitter was immediately all over it.
“Before I came to Washington, many warned me that the bureaucracy would resist any change that we tried to implement,” he said. “So far, I have found exactly the opposite. To date, we’ve been working with hundreds of talented civil servants, men and women who want to serve their country and see their government do better.”
He talked about how “many of our federal systems are decades old” and said his goal today is to improve people’s lives by “unleash[ing] the creativity of the private sector to provide citizen services in a way that has never happened before.”
He specifically pointed to work that’s already being done at the VA and even teased another “very big” announcement this coming Friday.
