Hillary: I’ve Seen ‘No Evidence’ Trump Would Be Good for Women at All

Hillary Clinton chatted about the election with Ellen DeGeneres today, and the daytime show host asked her about Donald Trump and the “hatred” that’s manifested itself on the campaign trail.

Clinton preached a message of unity, imploring Americans to reject “meanness” and insults and saying that we need to be listening to each other.

DeGeneres asked her about Trump’s proclamation that he’ll be great for women.

Clinton said that Trump has pretty clearly been “derogatory towards all kinds of women” so she’s seen “no evidence that he has an understanding what women’s lives are like today.”

The audience applauded as Clinton said she’ll make sure to hold Trump accountable for what he says.
