Holder Reminds DOJ Employees Not to Solicit Prostitutes
Attorney General Eric Holder sent out a memo to Justice Department employees today reminding them, in case they weren’t already aware, that they shouldn’t be soliciting prostitutes.
Yes, apparently they needed to be reminded of this.
In the memo, obtained by The Washington Post, Holder actually has to explain that DOJ employees soliciting prostitutes goes against what the department stands for, because 1) “it invites extortion, blackmail, and leaks of sensitive or classified information,” and 2) “it undermines the Department’s efforts to eradicate the scourge of human trafficking.”
And so, Holder reminds every single DOJ employee that it is not okay:
“This rule applies at all times during an individual’s employment, including while off duty or on personal leave, and applies regardless of whether the activity is legal or tolerated in a particular jurisdiction, foreign or domestic.”
So that happened.
