In One Tweet, Chelsea Handler Offered The Most Brutal Roger Ailes Burn Yet

Former Fox News chairman Roger Ailes died yesterday and the Internet made quick work of memorializing him. Some people were kinder than others.

There were on-air tributes and in-writing take-downs. A few tweets really encapsulated the moment’s emotions…

…but none quite like this one from comedian Chelsea Handler:

Roger Ailes has died at 77. In lieu of flowers, he’s requested that you please show your balls to a female co-worker.

Graphic? Yes. Point made? Yes.

Ailes was known not only for being the force behind Fox News, but for how he left it. Last summer, mounting allegations of sexual harassment against female employees pushed him out the door and into a strange existence composed of equal parts infamy and obscurity.
