Inmate Files Suit Claiming Discrimination Against His Satanic Faith

A Santa Fe inmate has filed a lawsuit against the Southern New Mexico Correctional Facility for unfairly discriminating against his religious beliefs.

Those beliefs? Satanism.

Yes, Bernard Pritchard believes he’s being discriminated against because he’s a Satanist. The facility provides services for people of other faiths, including places to pray and read relevant religious material.

In fact, here’s how broadly they accommodate religious beliefs: any practitioners of Asatru or Odinism are allowed to have replicas of Thor’s hammer.

Yes, you read that right.
