James Woods: ‘I Will Never Watch the NFL Again’ After Protests
Actor James Woods is very politically active on Twitter, and last week he expressed his disgust with recent NFL protests by declaring he’s going to boycott the league:
I'm aware people have a constitutional right to disrespect our flag. Though I'm sure it will be futile, I will forever #BoycottTheNFL
— James Woods (@RealJamesWoods) September 12, 2016
Well, TMZ caught up with Woods on Friday, and he elaborated, “They can do what they want. They can say whatever they think. And I respect their constitutional right to do it. I hope they respect my constitutional right never to watch the NFL again. I will never watch the NFL again. Ever.”
Woods is obviously bothered by not just Colin Kaepernick, but how his protest during the national anthem has taken off across the NFL.
