Jim Acosta Responds to Hannity Calling Him ‘Unhinged’: He ‘Needs a Hug’

Last night, Fox News’ Sean Hannity took aim at yet another media competitor when he devoted a segment to taking down CNN senior White House correspondent Jim Acosta. After taking shots at the CNN reporter on Twitter earlier in the week, Hannity rattled off a number of personal insults to describe Acosta, calling him “unhinged,” “whiny,” and one of the “top pushers of fake news.”

Well, this morning, Acosta responded to Hannity’s attacks with this tweet:

Over the past few days, Hannity has been absolutely gleeful over the news that CNN had to retract a story related to the Russian probe and three journalists resigned over the controversy. Much of his airtime this week has been spent discussing the situation and going directly after the network and its boss, Jeff Zucker.

It is doubtful that Hannity is going to let Acosta’s tweet go unanswered. If the Fox News host responds on Twitter, we will make sure to update this post.

The mudslinging toward Accosta comes as Hannity was forced to delete an RT he granted to the account “Hannity Gargles Piss” — which we certainly hope was fake news.
