Jon Stewart’s First Official Post-Daily Show Gig: WWE SummerSlam

PicMonkey Collage - RollinsJon Stewart‘s “feud” with Seth Rollins has clearly paid off. After leaving The Daily Show eleven days ago, Stewart has decided that his first not-so-peaceful step towards retirement will be hosting WWE SummerSlam this Sunday at the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn.

Stewart established himself as a wrestling fan multiple times on his show, having a recurring back-and-forth between himself and Rollins, who is now the World Heavyweight Champion. Rollins first appeared on the show after being mocked by Stewart on social media, which led to the world’s most hilarious fight ever on Monday Night Raw.

SummerSlam is already being hyped-up as a major showstopper. The event is scheduled to go on for four hours, where Rollins will face off with John Cena, while Brock Lesnar will go head to head with The Undertaker.
