Jon Voight on Trump: He’s ‘Funny, Playful, and Colorful, but Most of All, He is Honest’
Here is what actor Jon Voight has said about the term “progressive”: “[It’s] a very devious term. It was created as a substitute for ‘communist.’”
The right-leaning actor has also spoken out against Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem and on the Founding Fathers. The man is good for soundbites. In fact, he’s done it again! This time, he stayed topical, focusing on Donald Trump.
In an interview and follow-up press release with Breitbart, he said all of the following:
I, Jon Voight, can say, without hesitation, that Donald is funny, playful, and colorful, but most of all, he is honest … I am very disappointed at the talk show hosts, also spewing out lies and propaganda against Donald. Why, I wonder? The only thing I can think of is he represents a form of freedom none of them ever saw before, and they are bewildered about it, and frightened about it.
He went on to say that the public are ahead of the “so-called experts” anyway, so the disdain commentators are leveling at Trump is pretty inconsequential.
The real question is what he and his Obama-supporting son-in-law, Brad Pitt, talk about at Thanksgiving dinner.
