Justin Bieber Murder Plot Foiled By Convicted Killer Who Planned It

Justin Bieber was the reported target in a murder plot devised by convicted killer Dana Martin, who is currently serving two life sentences in prison. Martin, who has a tattoo of the pop star on his leg, recruited a former inmate and his nephew to commit four murders for him, including on Bieber himself and his bodyguard.

Martin, who is described by KRQE Albuquerque as “obsessed” with Bieber, was convicted of raping and killing a teenage girl in 2000. He planned to have his accomplices, Mark Staake and Tanner Ruane, strangle and castrate two acquaintances in Vermont and then travel to New York to kill Bieber.

The convict himself turned in his co-conspirators, foiling his plan, for reasons that are still unclear. Staake was arrested based on outstanding warrants in Vermont and Ruane was found in New York with “murder tools and pruning shears.” Police say Ruane expressed disappointment that he was unable to fulfill the murder plot.

Bieber and his bodyguard are unharmed.
