Kellyanne Conway Clarifies: I Didn’t Say Media Should ‘Ignore’ Trump Tweets, Just That They’re Obsessed

Kellyanne Conway got combative on The Today Show this morning over the media’s “obsession” with President Trump‘s tweets, but took to Twitter hours later to clarify her point.
Conway was asked about Trump’s tweets on the London terror attack, including the shots he took at the mayor, and as she kept getting all those questions, Conway shot back at “this obsession with covering everything he says on Twitter and very little of what he does as president.”
After CNN’s Chris Cillizza wrote that we cannot simply ignore official statements from the President, Conway tweeted out this clarification:
1/2: Never said ignore tweets – said "This obsession with covering everything he says on Twitter & very little to what he does as POTUS…" https://t.co/ViTFQT5GLd

2/2: Just today at White House: major infrastructure/air traffic control reform, veterans reform, small businesswomen harmed by Obamacare. https://t.co/ViTFQT5GLd

Conway has expressed in the past that she’s frustrated that the “complete story” of the Trump administration isn’t being told in the mainstream media.
