Kim Kardashian West Defends Kanye: ‘He’s a Free Thinker, Is That Not Allowed in America?’

On Wednesday, Kim Kardashian defended hubby Kanye West over concerns raised in the media that he may be suffering from a mental illness in light of a recent Twitter spree in which he aligned himself with “brother” Donald Trump and claimed he was invincible.

Earlier today, West claimed that Trump was his “brother” and both shared “dragon energy.”

Then, after additional tweets claiming he was “all the way out the sunken place” and “invincible,” he later claimed he doesn’t agree with everything Trump does.

The erratic Twitter posts prompted concerns about West’s mental health especially in light of his 2016 hospitalization.

Yet, according to Kardashian, such speculation about West’s health is “unfair” and West is just a “free thinker.”

“To the media trying to demonize my husband let me just say this… your commentary on Kanye being erratic & his tweets being disturbing is actually scary,” Kardashian wrote. “So quick to label him as having mental health issues for just being himself when he has always been expressive is not fair.”

She added: “He’s a free thinker, is that not allowed in America? Because some of his ideas differ from yours you have to throw in the mental health card? That’s just not fair.”

She concluded: “Mental Health is no joke.”
