‘Let Obamacare Fail’: Trump Tweets After GOP Health Care Bill Implodes

He tweets.
President Trump got back on Twitter today in order to address the news that the GOP’s health care bill flatlined in the Senate last night.
We were let down by all of the Democrats and a few Republicans. Most Republicans were loyal, terrific & worked really hard. We will return!

As I have always said, let ObamaCare fail and then come together and do a great healthcare plan. Stay tuned!

The decision from Senators Mike Lee and Jerry Moran to reject the bill means that it currently does not have enough votes to pass. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell delayed the Senate’s August recess to get the bill through, though he now plans to hold a vote in order to revive a 2015 bill that would repeal Obamacare with a two-year delay.
Last night, Trump tweeted that Obamacare ought to be repealed immediately and Republicans should build a new health care plan from a clean slate.
UPDATE – 9:31 a.m. EST: Trump wasn’t finished yet.
With only a very small majority, the Republicans in the House & Senate need more victories next year since Dems totally obstruct, no votes!
