Levin Bans Priebus from Radio Show: ‘I Have No Use’ for Trump’s ‘New Friend’
Mark Levin says he might not be #NeverTrump after all, but he’s still making a point about how he still doesn’t completely like Donald Trump or his ardent defenders.
The conservative radio host says that he will vote Trump in the end in order to stop Hillary Clinton, but that concession doesn’t exactly change how Levin has been fuming at him and at Reince Preibus‘ leadership for months. During his Wednesday show, Levin said that the Republican National Committee chairman was persona non grata on his program:
“I have no use for this guy. I think he’s contributed to dragging down the Republican Party. He’s Donald Trump’s new friend. He’s the alt-right, nationalist, populists’ new friend. They conspired with him to screw conservatives and the grassroots, so let them live with him. I want nothing to do with him.”
Mediaite columnist John Ziegler has acknowledged Levin’s belief that there’s a chance Trump could implement traditional conservative politics, but has opined that the mogul is too untrustworthy to be relied upon on that score.
Interestingly enough, Levin said he would be having Trump’s running mate Mike Pence on the show soon, as well as Glenn Beck, who remains #NeverTrump.
