Limbaugh: Fox and I Aren’t ‘Brainwashing’ Conservatives, That’s a Liberal Tactic

Bruce Bartlett, a conservative historian and former aide to Ronald Reagan, was on CNN’s Reliable Sources on Sunday to talk about how conservatives are “self-brainwashing” by only sticking with outlets like Fox News and Rush Limbaugh‘s radio show.

Limbaugh fired back today, insisting Bartlett is wrong because his listeners “learn more about liberalism” than anyone who sticks with mainstream, liberal-leaning media outlets.

He said it’s “patently absurd that conservatives self-brainwash,” and if any group is doing that, it’s liberals. He specifically cited the public school system, “where brainwashing is taking place” and the liberal agenda is apparently being shoved down students’ throats.
