Lindsey Graham Set to Announce Something on June 1

U.S. Senator and John McCain‘s Best Friend Lindsey Graham (R-SC) is reportedly set to announce something on June 1, according to multiple reports.

What could it possibly be?

Do you think he’ll hold a joint presser with McCain announcing that they are extending their BFFL agreement another few years? Or maybe it’s an announcement that he intends to break the Guinness World Record for “Most Appearances on a Sunday News Talk Show in One Month”? Or maybe he’ll just spend 45 minutes making jokes that betray his deep-seated authoritarian urges?

Nope. It turns out, the famously hawkish senator intends to join seven million of his fellow Republicans in running for president.

According to Fox News, he will likely hold the announcement in Seneca, S.C., where he currently lives.

Stay tuned for the June 1 speech, which will likely feature a lot of snickering about Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) and those pesky libertarians who “just want to smoke dope.”
