Margaret Cho: Why Does NBC Want ‘Known Racist’ Trump to Host SNL?
Comedian Margaret Cho is calling out Saturday Night Live for letting “known racist” Donald Trump host next month.
Cho spoke to TheWrap about how there has “never been an Asian-American host, cast member or musical guest on SNL in 41 years,” and yet “they want Donald Trump, a known racist, a known racist, who disgustingly wants to have sex with his daughter,” to host.
In an interview a few weeks ago, Cho called Trump’s campaign “a ruse” to get people “distracted from what Republicans are really doing.”
Cho thinks that SNL should have more Asian-American performers, as well as hosts and musical guests. She proposed Community and Dr. Ken star Ken Jeong as host, while she pops in as the musical guest.
And for what it’s worth, Jeong is very much into the idea:

Cho’s not the only one speaking out against Trump’s SNL appearance. Hispanic groups are protesting his hosting gig too.
