Media Twitter Has Field Day With Trump After ‘FAKE NEWS TROPHY’ Tweet

You are never going to believe this. President Donald Trump placed finger to phone this morning and tweeted out something inane, proposing that he hold a “contest” to determine “the most dishonest, corrupt and/or distorted in its political coverage” of “your favorite president (me).”

He excluded Fox News from this contest because, well, of course he did. The rest of the networks? “They are all bad,” the leader of the free world (him) wrote, bloviating blindly into his social media echo chamber.

So, as one could imagine, actual members of the media were dumbfounded by the president’s latest display of, uh, whatever this is. Fear? Distraction? A colicky morning? Who the heck knows anymore. Here are some tweets from the fake news media’s best and brightest, all vying for that trophy.

Trump went on to single out MSNBC’s Morning Joe specifically in a subsequent tweet, saying “their ratings are terrible, nobody cares!” It is also worth noting that the president is rapidly approaching an astounding 37,000 tweets and golfs more than Bob Hope on a USO tour.

“May you live in interesting times” said some bozo who probably didn’t.
