Mediaite’s Looking For Some New Editorial Interns! Could You Be One Of Them?
We here at Mediaite want to feel young again need some help, so we’re looking for some current college or graduate students to come on over to our swanky SoHo office and be our new editorial interns. While here you’ll get to write your own posts, help with research, watch TV for work, and scrap it up in our wonderful comments section. And you’ll never once have to get any of us coffee. We can get our own damn coffee, thank you very much.
So, what makes you a prime candidate? Well, do you like the news? Do you like politics? Do you like social media? Do you like broadcast media? Do you like any of the above things enough to have an interesting opinion on them and share that opinion in a well-written and entertaining way? If so, well, you probably already work here. However, in the off chance that you’re not yet sitting in this office five feet away from me as I type this, then please apply for this position.
Internships will begin as soon as possible and will continue throughout the fall semester and perhaps longer. We are looking for current students who can work 2-3 days a week here in New York City.
If this all sounds like something you’d be interested in, please email the following to interns@mediaite.com with the phrase “Mediaite Editorial Intern Application” in the subject line:
- A resume/CV
- Any two samples of your academic or journalistic writing
- A brief (1-page) cover letter explaining why your experience, knowledge, and personality make you the ideal intern for our site.
We’re in dire need of someone to boss around so get those applications in right away!
