Michelle Fields Reacts to Corey Lewandowski’s Firing: ‘I Hear Breitbart is Hiring’
It was only a matter of time before Michelle Fields reacted to the news that her personal nemesis of sorts Corey Lewandowski was fired as Donald Trump‘s campaign manager. As it turns out, her reaction came almost right away, and she seems rather delighted.
Fields was embroiled in a political firestorm when she accused Lewandowski of assaulting her as she tried to ask Trump a question at a press event several months ago. While the charges against Lewandowski were dropped, it became one of most charged controversies of Trump’s campaign, as well as the catalyst for Fields’ departure from Breitbart when the site seemed to take the candidate’s side over that of their own reporter.
Fields has continued to cover the campaign and speak out against Lewandowski, and she took a brief moment to today to dish out a jab to him and to her old employer:
Hey @CLewandowski_ I hear @BreitbartNews is hiring https://t.co/YKOZqRdi0p

Jamie Weinstein, an editor for Daily Caller and Field’s fiance, put up a screenshot today noting that Breitbart took its time to put up a post about the news.
What breaking news story is missing from @BreitbartNews homepage? I feel it’s missing something… pic.twitter.com/5Nl8FqZAPD
