Miss USA Says Pageant Will Stream Online Following NBC Dropping Out

It’s a little surreal for the 2016 presidential campaign to be connected to the fate of the upcoming Miss USA pageant, but that is the beauty of Donald Trump‘s presidential campaign. Trump’s recent remarks about Mexican immigrant criminals and rapists first caused Univision to back out of its simulcast of the pageant, and then caused NBC to sever all ties to Trump.

Now, without a network to run on, people were wondering about whether they’d be able to watch the pageant after all.

Well, a representative for Miss USA said today the pageant will still take place as scheduled on July 12th and it will be available to stream online on the Miss USA website.

So breathe easy, pageant watchers and/or Trump fans who want to watch just to spite NBC.
