Mosque Protestor Who Posted Addresses of Muslims: I’m Being ‘Smeared by the Liberal Media’

david wright doxes irving texas muslims supportersDavid Wright III, leader of the Texas anti-Muslim group Bureau of American Islamic Relations (BAIR), wrote on Facebook Thursday that he’s being “attacked and smeared by the liberal media” after publishing a list of names and addresses for several local area Muslims and supporters on his page.

Wright, who organized an armed protest against “Islamization of America” outside of a local Texas mosque last week, defended his decision to post “the name and address of every Muslim and Muslim sympathizer that stood up for Sharia tribunals in Irving TX,” telling the local news station KDFW that anyone can access the information through the city website.

Wright also told KDFW his group supports peace. “Our event ended very peacefully. People should recognize that we are peaceful and we are a group of self-defense minded people. There’s nothing wrong with that,” he said.

Facebook removed the list of names last Thursday. In a subsequent post, Wright said he is “being attacked and smeared by the liberal media for legally exercising my 1st and 2nd Amendment rights and for using public data to defend my credibility when they make accusations against me.”

“You know as well as I do if it was my intention to use this as a hit list then it would have already happened,” he added.
