NBA to Appoint Interim CEO for L.A. Clippers

The National Basketball Association will appoint Richard Parsons to be the interim CEO of the L.A. Clippers while the NBA sorts out the Donald Sterling mess. Parsons is the former CEO of Time Warner and the former chairman at Citigroup. The NBA announced late last week they would be appointing a CEO to be “supervising the team’s operations” in the time being while they attempt to force Sterling to sell the team so another owner can buy it.

Shelly Sterling, the wife of Donald Sterling, indicated her support for the NBA’s move to find a new CEO, but she also wants to hold onto ownership of the team for herself.
