Netflix Enlists House of Cards in Net Neutrality Fight
Netflix has fought for net neutrality in the past, but this week they kind of wavered a bit, when CFO David Wells admitted they would have preferred a “non-regulated solution” as opposed to the Title II classification that pushed it over the top.
AT&T shot back in a statement saying, “Netflix has spun a lot of tales during this FCC proceeding. But it’s awfully hard to believe their CFO would go into a major investor conference and misspeak on an issue supposedly so crucial to their future.”
They went on, and Netflix responded today with the help of none other than House of Cards:
@ATTPublicPolicy AT&T's lobbyist calling out lobbyists? Attack of candor, indeed.

I feel good to be on the offensive.

This could very well foreshadow a Frank Underwood scheme to subtweet his rivals next season.
