New Charlie Hebdo Issue Is Reportedly Full of ‘Crude Sexual Satire’
The latest edition of Charlie Hebdo, the French satirical magazine whose staffers were the target of a deadly terrorist attack last week, will be just as biting and blasphemous as normal, according to a BBC reporter.
“I’ve been into small office where mag put together,” BBC’s foreign correspondent Fergal Keane tweeted. “Copy has 16 pages. Much of it crude sexual satire.”
The magazine’s content, scheduled to hit newsstands tomorrow with a print run of 3 million copies, has a wide range of blasphemy, as is the magazine’s editorial stance. (“We tease everybody,” an editor told Keane). Keane tweeted the following descriptions:
