Newly Released Dash Cam Footage Reveals How That Car Made to the Second Floor of a Dental Office

You may have seen photos from that wild car wreck in Santa Ana, CA on Sunday morning — in which a sedan flew about 60 feet in the air before crashing into the second floor of a dental office. Now, the dash cam footage from the accident has been released, showing how the car made it that high up in the air.

The footage above — via the Today Show — shows the car hitting the median at a super fast speed. The sedan then flew 60 feet in the air, narrowly missing a car driving on the opposite side of the road, before crashing into the dental office.

The New York Times reports that both the driver and the car’s lone passenger escaped with minor injuries. The driver has reportedly been charged with driving under the influence.
