NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell Criticizes Trump’s ‘Divisive Comments’: Shows ‘Lack of Respect’

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has issued a statement this morning in response to President Trump‘s comments last night about players protesting by taking a knee during the national anthem.

Trump slammed the “disrespect” of those protests and said, “Wouldn’t you love to see one of these NFL owners when somebody disrespects our flag to say ‘get that son of a bitch off the field right now’?”
