‘None of These Statements Are True’: National Enquirer Apologizes to Judge Judy for False Articles

The National Enquirer has posted an apology to Judge Judy Sheindlin and retracted false claims they ran about her.
GossipCop first reported on the apology earlier today, in which the Enquirer addresses recent articles from them and The National Examiner in which they “stated that Judge Judy Sheindlin suffered from ‘brain disease,’ was ‘fighting’ both Alzheimer’s and depression, and is ‘hiding a heartbreaking medical crisis.'”
That, plus other articles claiming she “cheated on her husband” and that her daughter Nicole “faced jail time for refusing to serve on a jury,” led the Enquirer to say the following:
None of these statements are true, and we unequivocally retract them.
The National ENQUIRER, The National Examiner and American Media Inc. sincerely apologize to Judge Judy. The National ENQUIRER, The National Examiner and American Media Inc. also sincerely apologize to Nicole, who is a respected attorney and is the CEO of Her Honor Mentoring.
