Paramount Launches Best Director Oscar Campaign for Michael Bay’s Work in Transformers 4
IN A WORLD…where movies all kind of suck…where Hollywood focuses solely on sequels and reboots of old franchises…one studio strove for excellence above all else, by believing that Transformers: Age of Extinction was worthy of a Best Picture Oscar.
Or at least that it should be considered for one. Behold:

The movie has an 18% fresh score on RottenTomatoes.com, but hey, a billion dollars is pretty indicative of serious cinematic quality, like in this scene where Transformers riding dinosaur robots battle some other robots, one of whom is smoking a robot cigar:
