‘People Who Are Very Ambitious Should Not Be President’ Says Trump Supporter Ben Carson
Even the women on the Outnumbered couch Tuesday afternoon laughed out loud at Dr. Ben Carson‘s newest assertion: ambition has no place in the White House.
The former Republican Presidential candidate made his first appearance on Fox News’ Outnumbered Tuesday, and hilariously blasted the role of personal ambition in regards to becoming President. The subject came up when he was pressed about the arrangement between Ohio Governor John Kasich and Texas Senator Ted Cruz to prevent frontrunner Donald Trump from winning.
Since ending his own bid for the GOP nomination, Carson has been a supporter of Trump, perhaps the most ambitious person in American history to seek the Presidency. The irony of his statement left zero room for misinterpretation with the women on the show, who all laughed at Carson’s commentary.
“People who are very ambitious and who will do whatever it takes in order to achieve their goals are people that probably should not be President of the United States,” Carson simply noted.
“That’s the only way to become President!” exclaimed Melissa Francis, echoing the sentiments of literally every American who knows anything about politics except for the apparently ambition-less Carson himself.
