President of Right-Wing PAC Mocked After Accidentally Reminding Everyone About Jim Jordan Allegations
2 time National, Division I wrestling champion. 4 time (that’s every year folks…) Ohio State High School champion wrestler…

While trying to promote Congressman Jim Jordan’s campaign to replace Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) as Speaker of the House, Ken Cuccinelli — who is the president of the Senate Conservatives Fund PAC and frequently appears on CNN — accidentally reminded everyone that the lawmaker has been accused of allowing physical abuse to take place while he was a wrestling coach.
“2 time National, Division I wrestling champion. 4 time (that’s every year folks…) Ohio State High School champion wrestler,” tweeted Cuccinelli. “Who better to wrestle the Dems to the ground?”
Of course, Jordan’s impressive college wrestling record is not what people think of when they associate the lawmaker with the sport. Instead, what immediately comes to mind is the congressman being recently accused by numerous former Ohio State wrestlers of turning a blind eye to a team doctor who allegedly sexually abused the athletes while Jordan was an assistant coach for the team.
Journalists, pundits, and other Twitter users were quick to point out the Cuccinelli’s inability to read the room, as the PAC president was viciously mocked for the mistake:
Ken. Ken what are you thinking here. https://t.co/A5uyWuZTqq

Dude did you hear that dozens of boys said they told Jim Jordan they were molested in College and he did nothing? Im assuming you didn’t because there’s no way you’d post a wrestling pic of him if you had! Anyways fyi look into it it’s really bad

Yes, be sure to remind people of Jim Jordan’s wrestling past. That’s the story you want in their minds right now.

Proud sexual puritan Ken Cuccinelli just shamelessly leaning into the “Jim Jordan turned a blind eye to sexual abuse at the OSU wrestling program” story https://t.co/54xXNDB3GP
