Rachel Maddow: New Lawsuit Means ACORN May Get The Last Laugh

Considering her tenacious coverage of the subject it’s not surprising that Rachel Maddow jumped all over news that former ACORN employee Juan Carlos Vera, depicted on the infamous and heavily edited tapes talking to James O’Keefe about how to orchestrate their human-trafficking scheme has filed a lawsuit against both O’Keefe and his partner Hannah Giles.

The lawsuit alleges that Giles and O’Keefe broke a California law “that prohibits recordings of confidential communications without the consent of all the participants.” Vera is reportedly suing for at least $75,000.

Says Maddow: “Turns out, there may have been a scandal after all, just not the bogus one that Fox News and conservative activists promoted.” Watch below.
