Report: Herman Cain Repeatedly Gave Ginger White Money Without Wife’s Consent

In an interview with the New Hampshire Union Leader Thursday, Herman Cain revealed that he had repeatedly given money to Ginger White, the woman who recently came forward accusing Cain of having carried on an affair with her for over 13 years.

He says he had sent her financial help for “month-to-month bills and expenses” because she had sent him numerous texts indicating she was “economically troubled.” He added that he is a “soft-hearted person” and felt the need to help her out because he “had known her as a friend.”

Cain, who is still “reassessing” whether he will continue with his campaign, has plans to return to his wife in Atlanta on Friday. He has not seen his wife, Gloria, since Ms. White came forward with her allegations.
