RNC Now Offering Donors an Official Dick Cheney Cowboy Hat

After their wildly successful fundraiser selling official George H.W. Bush socks, the Republican National Committee has come up with another novelty fundraising item: Dick Cheney’s Official Cowboy Hat.

“Engraved with Vice President Dick Cheney’s signature and specially lined with the Republican seal,” the Dick cowboy hat is labeled in a way that will let the world know that you love, appreciate, and support Dick.

In an email blast (via National Review) Dick’s daughter Liz Cheney said that the RNC was inspired to sell Dick hats after people told her how much they loved her dad’s hat. “It symbolizes freedom of the American West, the freedom we all hold dear,” she wrote.

It’s unconfirmed whether the hat can also be used as a portable water tank, or a hummus bowl.
