RNC Spokesman: Catholic League Should Be Encouraging Adoption, ‘Not Demeaning’ Parents
Amid the frenzy and outrage over Hilary Rosen‘s comments about Ann Romney, the Catholic League tweeted a response saying, “Unlike Rosen, who had to adopt kids, Ann raised 5 of her own.” Communications director for the RNC, Sean Spicer, quickly addressed the remark and said the League shouldn’t be demeaning parents who adopt.
Rosen, who has since apologized, is under fire for saying Romney has never worked a day in her life. The comment from the Catholic League points out “lesbian Dem” Rosen “had to” adopt. Their tweet:
Lesbian Dem Hilary Rosen tells Ann Romney she never worked a day in her life. Unlike Rosen, who had to adopt kids, Ann raised 5 of her own.

The @catholicleague should be encouraging adoption, not demeaning the parents who are blessed to raise these children
