Ronny Jackson Has Reportedly Returned to WH Medical Unit After Withdrawing VA Nomination

On Friday, CNN reported that one-time Department of Veteran’s Affairs Secretary nominee Ronny Jackson has returned to the White House Medical Unit.

He has not, however, returned to his role as President Donald Trump’s personal physician, according to CNN’s report.

Speaking with CNN’s Phil Mattingly, John Berman pointed out that even though the scrutiny brought on by the nomination has ended, Jackson is not out of the woods yet.

“There will still be a determination” that needs to be made, Berman noted, stressing the allegations, which still not proven, have not just gone away.

“Look, the primary reason he is working day-to-day in the White House right now is the president,” Mattingly replied, noting how much Trump has said he likes Jackson.

Yet, Mattingly cautioned that even with the support of the president “the reality is there are a lot of allegations. Some of which very damaging.”
