Scott Baio Talks Industry Sexism on Outnumbered: Working With Women is ‘Easier’
Actor Scott Baio, known for roles on Happy Days, Charles in Charge, and some VH1 “celebreality” shows about his commitment issues, was the #OneLuckyGuy on today’s episode of Outnumbered on Fox News. His fellow panelists brought up a recent federal probe into sex-based discrimination in Hollywood and Baio was not having it.
He groaned that the probe was the government “wasting their time” on “this type of B.S” while “looking for something that isn’t there.”
Kimberly Guilfoyle agreed with him, saying that the government was being too intrusive and was inadvertently insulting women more by assuming they couldn’t get top spots in the industry on their own.
Baio then said, “I prefer to work with women. I really do. It’s an easier day.”
No one on the couch followed up on that statement, which is a shame, because it could mean so many different things. Are women easier to get along with? Better leaders? Or is it that women don’t push the cast hard?
We may never know what, exactly, Baio meant.
