Senator Ben Sasse Suggests Hackers Have Targeted Him for Criticizing WikiLeaks

Nebraska senator Ben Sasse claims that his government and personal technology have come under attack this weekend, and he believes it has everything to do with his criticism for WikiLeaks and Julian Assange.
Last week, Sasse slammed WikiLeaks for releasing a massive trove of documents containing details about the CIA’s hacking and surveillance programs. Sasse is part of the Senate Armed Services Committee and he said that Assange was “endangering innocent lives, abetting despots, and stoking a crisis of confidence,” by releasing the information:
“Julian Assange should spend the rest of his life wearing an orange jumpsuit,” Sasse said. “He’s an enemy of the American people and an ally to Vladimir Putin.”
On Saturday, Sasse claimed that he was facing significant security issues and taking precautions to deal with hackers:
Heads-up…
I’ve been critical of Assange & WikLeaks this week. So…big surprise:

Recently, Sasse also sent out a letter where he asked Attorney General Jeff Sessions if the White House is taking the leaks seriously and making any plans to counteract Assange.
