Senior White House Advisor Tweets Out N-Word; Conservatives Pounce
White House senior advisor Dan Pfeiffer apologized for a “horrendous” typo this morning on Twitter, after he sent out a message containing the n-word.
While responding to a tweet from the New York Times‘ Jonathan Martin about the rise of the Internet/cable television and how it factors into political polarization, Pfeiffer wrote: “also a much nigger factor on the right.”

It took Pfeiffer a few moments to realize what he had written, but he soon deleted the tweet and apologized:

Following that explanation, conservatives pounced — either by mockingly declaring Pfeiffer a “closet racist”…



…Or by suggesting that if a Republican had made the same mistake, the media would not be so forgiving:
