Shia LaBeouf Has Launched a 4 Year Long Anti-Trump Art Project
For Shia LaBeouf‘s latest project, he’s launched a live stream at the Museum of the Moving Image in Queens, New York, and everyone gets to be a part of it- including you if you choose. Now, and for the next four years, or “the duration of the presidency,” whichever comes first, a video called “He Will Not Divide Us” will be live-streamed here. The work features people outside the museum saying “He will not divide us,” over and over again, as many times as they want.
The project’s description says:
Open to all, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, the participatory performance will be live-streamed continuously for four years, or the duration of the presidency. In this way, the mantra “HE WILL NOT DIVIDE US” acts as a show of resistance or insistence, opposition or optimism, guided by the spirit of each individual participant and the community.
Today, Jaden Smith made an appearance and he stayed for a while and it’s not unlikely that other celebs will stop by- four years is a long, long time.
