Someone Hacked a Digital California Traffic Sign to Read ‘Vote Donald Trump’
A traffic sign in California told drivers to vote for a particular Republican presidential candidate come 2016.
According to ABC 7, Nikki Worden and her husband Dann were driving home from the movies on Christmas night when they saw the sign in Corona, California. They were so surprised by the California Department of Transportation, or Caltrans, sign that they turned around to record a video of its message.
“Inland Empire supports Donald Trump,” the sign said for drivers on the northbound 15 freeway. “Merry Xmas. Vote Donald Trump.”

A Caltrans spokesperson told ABC 7 that someone had apparently reprogrammed the sign. It has since been returned to its normal message for that location.
