Son of Slain NYPD Officer Mourns His Father on Facebook

Jaden Ramos, the son of slain NYPD Officer Rafael Ramos, took to Facebook to mourn the loss of his father in yesterday’s execution-style fatal shootings of Ramos and his NYPD colleague Wenjian Liu.

Ramos immediately reacted to the news of his father’s death by simply posting that yesterday was the worst day of his life, and in a second post he said it is horrible that someone gets targeted for death just for being a police officer. The second post includes condolences from Arizona Cardinals Wide Receiver Larry Fitzgerald.

And just 11 days before his father was killed, Ramos posted a special birthday message for him. Rafael Ramos had just turned 40.
