‘Spicer’s in Way Over His Head’: Charles Krauthammer on Spicer Holocaust Remarks
Conservative pundit Charles Krauthammer believes that White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer meant no malice with his widely denounced Holocaust comments on Tuesday. But he also believes that Spicer might be overmatched in his job as the chief spokesman for President Donald Trump.
Appearing on Special Report With Bret Baier, Krauthammer suggested that Spicer might not be skilled enough for his position as White House Press Secretary.
“Spicer’s in way over his head,” Krauthammer said. “He made a terrible mistake.”
The conservative commentator did give Spicer full credit for his apology, and said that he ought to be given “a pass” for the remarks.
“There was no malevolence intended,” Krauthammer said. “I’d give him a pass. It was a mistake.”
