‘Starbucks Martyr’: Swalwell Dragged for Photo of Him Braving the Cold to Avoid Coffee at Trump Tower
Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) set himself up for epic internet mockery after tweeting a somewhat sad-looking viral photo of himself standing in front of the Trump Tower in a freezing cold New York City blizzard in order to avoid going inside the Trump Tower coffee shop.
“It’s snowing in #NewYork. I need coffee. The closet cafe is inside Trump Tower. This is me walking to an alternative,” the congressman tweeted, as Twitter immediately joined in on a mock fest.
