Steven Tyler And Jennifer Lopez Announced As New American Idol Judges

Well finally we know the answer that’s on everyone’s mind: who will replace Simon Cowell, Ellen DeGeneres and Kara DioGuardi as judges on American Idol? Rumors that Jennifer Lopez had already inked a deal to join the only returning judge Randy Jackson appear to be true. The two of them will be joined by Aerosmith lead singer Steven Tyler.

Readers familiar with Mediaite’s internationally recognized coverage of American Idol may recall that we back in July we published our online sister Gossip Cop’s exclusive report that J Lo and Steven Tyler would join the famed competitive reality show as judges. In today’s announcement, host Ryan Seacrest made Gossip Cop look really smart by confirming what they seemed to know before anyone else.
