Stormy Daniels Won’t Attend White House Correspondents Dinner

Well there we have it, people. We might as well wrap things up because Nerdprom is pretty much cancelled.
Stormy Daniels is still generating public intrigue with her battle against Donald Trump‘s legal team and her attempts to speak freely about her connection with the president. However, Michael Avenatti, the porn star’s lawyer, has said his client has no intention of bringing the spectacle to the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.
In a statement to Washington Examiner, Avenatti called the WHCD a “sideshow,” and said Daniels was not invited to attend, nor would she appear even if she was invited.
There have been questions as to whether or not Trump would attend this year’s gala with the political media. Trump and his administration still have an adversarial relationship with most of the press, and he skipped last year’s dinner in favor of a campaign-style rally where he continued to air his grievances with the media.
The White House was recently asked whether Trump would attend this year, though they haven’t offered any kind of public confirmation yet.
