Student Trolls School’s Gender Pronoun Policy By Demanding to be Called ‘His Majesty’
The University of Michigan has a new policy allowing students to choose which personal pronoun they feel most comfortable with, and one student has decided to use it to his advantage.
“The University of Michigan is committed to fostering an environment of inclusiveness,” the school said in an email picked up by The College Fix. “Consistent with this value, the University has created a process for students to designate pronouns with the University and have those pronouns reflected on class rosters this fall.”
Grant Strobl took note of the policy, and for his designated pronoun on the class roster, he has asked the faculty and staff to refer to him forevermore as “his majesty.”
My new identity is His Majesty Grant Strobl, what's yours? After you update WolverineAccess, tweet to #UMPronounChallenge! @YAF @YAFUMich

Strobl is the conservative chairman of the school’s Young Americans for Freedom’s Board of Governors. While he says he has no problems with students asking to be identified the way they choose, Strobl says its absurd for the school to have an “arbitrary” policy on pronouns that can punish people who don’t refer to their peers in their preferred way:
“So, I henceforth shall be referred to as: His Majesty, Grant Strobl. I encourage all U-M students to go onto Wolverine Access, and insert the identity of their dreams.”
